Great Start for Team Scalextric

Real life race team, Team Scalextric experienced a great start to 2013's MINI CHALLENGE at Snetterton at the weekend of 6th/7th April.

Lead by Scalextric Consumer Promotions Manager, Adrian Norman from Ramsgate, Team Scalextric is racing for the second year in the MINI CHALLENGE.  Adrian is used to racing the famous slot car brand on a daily basis at our Margate HQ.  After his rookie year in 2012, the pressure is on for Adrian in 2013 as a qualified racing driving.

At Snetterton, Adrian's Team Scalextric car finished 5th in class and 12th overall from 28 starters. Adrian's Team Scalextric partner, Patrick Mortimer, endured a frustrating weekend with turbo problems but completed all four races to collect points from the first race-weekend of the season at Snetterton.  Next stop, Brands Hatch 11/12th May on the Grand Prix circuit.
