Rally Around for the NHS Competition Winner

To show our support to all the NHS Heroes who are working tirelessly to save lives, Scalextric recently introduced an NHS Livery competition to win your design on a one-of-a-kind slot car!

The competition had a high level of entrants and raised a total of £300 for NHS charities.

The winning livery was picked by motorsport legend Adrian Newey and created by 14 year old Lane Athey. Newey said the design was “Ideal for motorsport in being elegantly simple, the design works from all angles so good for all camera angles around the track, and there’s a major focus on the rainbow which is now so heavily associated and recognisable with the NHS.”

The winning design will be turned into an actual slot car which will be sent to Lane. Congratulations Lane!
