Renault creates real life-sized Scalextric track in stunt video

Scalextric have been working with Scorch London and Renault UK to produce their latest stunt video, showing two electric cars racing on a giant Scalextric track in London.

Two Renault Zoe vehicles were modified to mimic real Scalextric cars with competition winners racing against each other using controllers remotely from a helicopter.

The video was created by Scorch London after consulting with the Scalextric Team at their Margate Headquarters.

Renault UK were looking for a special way to showcase their amazing Zoe electric car. Creating a giant Scalextric track on the streets of London was the perfect fit, demonstrating Zoe's dynamism and its beauty.

After viral success with the Renault Clio's 'experiential ad' earlier this year, Renault UK are hoping for a similar response with their collaboration with Scalextric.
