Hot Laps, the Scalextric smartphone game

Hot Laps brings the joy of retro arcade-style racing to your Scalextric competitions. This simple-to-use app uses motion detection to offer a reliable way to track laps and make checkpoints, so all you have to do, is race your slot cars as fast as you can.

You don’t need any extra hardware, just an up-to-date smartphone and your Hot Laps set. Once your Scalextric track is all set up, you can download the Hot Laps app, place your phone on top of the cardboard gantry included in the box and choose your game mode.

The Lap Counter allows two players to go head-to-head in a race of who can complete all the laps in the fastest possible time. Hot Laps Championships lets you play by yourself in a rally-style event. And Hot Laps Head-To-Head lets two players race against the clock to reach various checkpoints. There’s leaderboards and different stages to try out.
